Focus: Human Hibernation & Longevity Research
A research initiative to develop viable human hibernation technology for extended longevity. Named after Urocitellus parryii (Arctic Ground Squirrel)—the mammal with the longest hibernation period. The goal: enable humans to enter controlled torpor states for periods of 1-10 years, dramatically slowing biological aging.
Key elements include a Norwegian underground facility leveraging natural cooling, a self-sustaining foundation structure, and a 10-year development roadmap targeting successful 1-year human hibernation by Year 8.
